Annual Thanksgiving Fellowship Dinner and Silent Auction

We invite you to join us for for a time of food, fun and fellowship at our annual Thanksgiving  Dinner at Northlake Church of the Nazarene.  The church will furnish Ham, Chicken and Turkey along with drinks. This dinner is pot luck style.  Those who attend generally bring a side dish to share.  Side dishes are generally salads, vegetables, casseroles, or desserts.  We would love to have you join us and since we want to plan the seating it would be helpful if you let us know how many and what side dishes you may bring.

During the event there will be a silent auction to raise funds for Teen Activities and a World Mission project. The items being auctioned are items that have been donated and they usually include a wide range of items.  in the past there has always been seasonal decorations that have been craft by some of our members, other craft items, food, jewelry, knack knacks, etc.  You never know what may be available and we have had items that you will not find anywhere else.

Adult Christmas Party

Plan to join us on Saturday December 14, 2019 for a Christmas Party for adults.  There will be fun, food and fellowship.  We will gather around the Christmas tree at the Church and sing some of your favorite Christmas Carols. For those who want to participate there will be a "White Elephant" gift exchange, all they need to do is bring a gift wrapped "White Elephant" gift to put under the tree.  Names will be randomly selected to see who get to choose a gift.  Those who attend generally bring some finger foods to share.  You will also enjoy participation in some christmas trivia type games and if you do the best there are prizes. Plan to relax and have a little fun with us during this hectic season.

Soup Safari

Plan to join us om Saturday January 18, 2020 for a exciting safari as we take our soup bowl and traverse the world in the search of the best soup.  maybe we will only get to traverse the floor around the table where the kettles of soup are located.  Those who attend are encouraged to bring their favorite soup from their country of birth or some other country they have visited or from their favorite cook book.  We will have people from several different cultures who attend our church so a soup safari can be an interesting event.  We will also be learning a little about some aspects of Nazarene Missions International's ministry around the world. We would love to have you cook up a pot of exotic soup and come and join us for some food, fun and fellowship.
